Washington Township Public Library asks for return of missing picnic table

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — The Washington Township Public Library in Morris County is asking the public for help after one of its outdoor picnic tables went missing.

In a message shared with the community, the library said the table, located outside its building at 37 E. Springtown Road in Long Valley, has disappeared and has not been located.

“The twin to the pictured picnic table is missing, and we don’t know where it went (this isn’t a joke) if you or someone you know took our picnic table, please bring it back and place it where it was taken from. We miss it, sometimes we eat lunch there. (Again, not a joke),” the library said.
