LAMBERTVILLE, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson and Lambertville Police Department Lt. Robert Brown announced Thursday the results of a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office’s Narcotics Task Force and the Lambertville Police Department, leading to the arrest of two individuals on charges of distributing and possessing controlled dangerous substances.
The investigation began in early September following reports of suspected narcotics transactions in the area of George Street in Lambertville. On Tuesday, Sept. 24, detectives allegedly observed Carl Decicco, 33, of Lambertville, and Rayshawn Robbins, 39, of Trenton, engaging in a narcotics transaction, authorities said.
Both individuals were taken into custody without incident. Decicco was charged with third-degree possession of heroin, while Robbins was charged with third-degree distribution of heroin. They were both released pending court appearances, the prosecutor’s office said.
Third-degree charges carry potential penalties that may include a term of imprisonment between three to five years and fines up to $15,000.
