2 drivers injured, including 1 seriously, after head-on crash in Warren County

HOPE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Two drivers were injured, including one seriously, following a head-on collision in Warren County on Thursday, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Charles Marchan.

The crash occurred around 5:57 p.m. on County Route 521 northbound at milepost 1.4 in Hope Township, Marchan reported.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Sarah Slack, 34, of Blairstown Township, was driving a 2014 Honda passenger car southbound on County Route 521 when, at milepost 1.4, she crossed over the center double yellow line and collided head-on with a Kenworth tractor driven by Keith Delman, 58, of Blairstown Township, Marchan said.

As a result of the crash, Slack sustained serious injuries, while Delman suffered minor injuries, Marchan said.

The crash remains under investigation.
