2 injured after vehicle crashes into tree on I-80 in Warren County
KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Two people were injured Monday night after a car crashed into a tree on Interstate 80 in Warren County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.
The crash happened at around 10:08 p.m. on Interstate 80 westbound at milepost 6.6 in Knowlton Township, Lebron said.
A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Toyota passenger vehicle was traveling westbound on I-80 when the driver lost control, ran off the roadway, and struck a tree, Lebron said.
Two juvenile passengers suffered minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital, Lebron said.
The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
