2 injured in Sussex County crash involving motorcycle, car

MONTAGUE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Two people were injured following a crash involving a motorcycle and a car Thursday morning in Sussex County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash happened at around 11:41 a.m. on Deckertown Turnpike between Clove Road and River Road in Montague Township, Lebron said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a collision occurred between a Honda motorcycle and a Hyundai passenger vehicle, Lebron said.

Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
