8 injured in Route 31 crash in Warren County

OXFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Eight people were injured last week in a motor vehicle crash on Route 31 in Oxford Township, according to first responders.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene on June 17, where Washington Township police reported multiple injuries.

Rescue crews extricated one person who was trapped in a vehicle, officials said.

Basic life support units from Belvidere Ambulance Corps, Washington Emergency Squad, Independence First Aid Squad and Atlantic Mobile Health transported patients from the scene. Advanced life support care was provided by Hunterdon Medical Center’s EMS units. New Jersey State Police also responded.

Knowlton Township Fire and Rescue Company No. 1 and South Branch Emergency Services provided station coverage during the incident.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
