VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – The Vernon Township Police Department is urging residents to remain vigilant following a series of attempted vehicle thefts in the area.
Authorities are asking community members to observe and report any suspicious vehicles they may encounter, including details such as make, model, color, and license plate numbers, if possible.
Residents are reminded to take precautionary measures to protect their vehicles. This includes ensuring that all vehicles are locked and that keys or key fobs are not left inside unattended.
Additionally, residents with outdoor camera systems are encouraged to check their footage and share any relevant information with law enforcement, as this could assist in apprehending suspects.
