2 bicyclists struck, injured by driver on Route 206 in Sussex County

SANDYSTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) — Two bicyclists were struck and injured by a driver on Sunday in Sandyston Township, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Route 206 southbound at milepost 123.4 at 5:29 p.m. involving a Toyota Camry and the two bicyclists.

According to a preliminary investigation, the collision occurred when the vehicle struck the bicyclists. Both individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not released any additional information at this time.
