Dive into spooktacular fun: Underwater pumpkin carving at SEA LIFE New Jersey

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (Bergen County) – As Halloween approaches, SEA LIFE New Jersey is making waves with an exciting underwater pumpkin carving event.

On Thursday, Oct. 31, visitors can watch as divers skillfully carve pumpkins inside the 186,000-gallon Ocean Exhibit, surrounded by a breathtaking array of fish, sharks, and stingrays.

Carving pumpkins underwater is no easy feat, especially in full dive gear, but the SEA LIFE team is ready to impress. Not only do guests get to witness this unique art form, but the aquatic animals seem to enjoy the spectacle just as much, making it a fun experience for all.

In addition to the pumpkin carving, SEA LIFE is hosting a special Tricks & Treats event, running until Halloween. Guests can meet the enchanting sea witch, Serafina, and embark on exciting challenges designed to raise awareness about ocean conservation.

This event promises a “FIN’tastic” time for local ghouls and goblins alike, featuring interactive activities and spooky surprises throughout the aquarium.
