Man facing drug, DUI charges following traffic stop in Morris County

MENDHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County man is facing charges, including driving under the influence and drug possession, following a traffic stop last month in Mendham Township, according to police.

On Wednesday, February 26, an officer stopped a vehicle on Schoolhouse Lane for a traffic violation, police said.

Upon speaking with the driver, a 60-year-old man from Morristown, the officer allegedly observed signs of recent drug use, police said.

The driver, whose name was not released, was arrested for driving under the influence. The arrest also led to a charge of cocaine possession. The driver was lodged at the Morris County Jail, police said.
