The Arc of Warren County celebrates 35th anniversary of radiothon with WRNJ on May 1
WASHINGTON, NJ (Warren County) – The Arc of Warren County Radiothon with WRNJ will celebrate its 35th anniversary on May 1, 2025. It is the longest-running Radiothon in the state of New Jersey and one of the longest in the United States.
Funds raised will support all of The Arc of Warren County’s programs that assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Camp Warren, Residential, Early Intervention, and Community-Based Supports. From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 1, WRNJ will dedicate the entire day to sharing stories about the impact of The Arc of Warren County’s work from various perspectives, including those of families, consumers, community leaders, board members, and employees.
The 2025 Radiothon will be co-chaired by Jim Travis, of Otterstedt Insurance Agency, and Norman Worth, of WRNJ, for the seventh consecutive year. Both Travis and Worth have been advocates for the organization and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 35 years. Travis serves on the Board of Directors for The Arc of Warren County. Both Travis and Worth are long-time members of the Hackettstown Rotary Club and serve on the Advisory Board for Atlantic Health’s Hackettstown Medical Center.
As in previous years, all donors will be publicly thanked (without donation amounts) during Radiothon Day, unless they wish to remain anonymous. Two sponsorship levels are available for Radiothon 2025:
- The Community Builder Circle for gifts over $500 (previously called Business Sponsorship).
- A new donation level called Empower Hour, where businesses can sponsor one hour of the Radiothon for $1,500.
“The Arc of Warren County community is incredibly grateful for the continued support of the Radiothon,” says John Whitehead, CEO of The Arc of Warren County. “This is Radiothon’s 35th anniversary, and we are deeply thankful for the contributions of all our donors, partners, and co-chairs. Their commitment has made a significant impact on supporting our programs and operations.”
