CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – No injuries were reported after a fire in a detached garage in Clinton Township Wednesday night, according to police
On Wednesday, May 7, around 9:22 p.m., police responded to a reported structure fire at 306 Cokesbury Road.
Upon arrival, officers observed a fully engulfed detached garage on the property, separate from the main residence.
Multiple fire departments, including Annandale Hose Company, Clinton Fire Department, High Bridge, Quakertown, Glen Gardner, and Lebanon Township, responded and brought the blaze under control. South Branch Emergency Services provided on-scene medical support.
No injuries were reported. The fire, discovered by a neighbor and reported at 9:22 p.m., was believed to have started in the garage. The homeowner noted he had been welding earlier in the day and observed no issues as of 6:00 p.m.
The cause remains under investigation by Clinton Township Police and local fire officials.
