High Bridge Fire Department receives advanced rescue equipment donation from Trident Maritime Systems
HIGH BRIDGE BOROUGH, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The High Bridge Fire Department has received a significant upgrade to its emergency response capabilities following a generous donation of advanced rescue tools from Trident Maritime Systems.
The donation includes Paratech Hydra Fusion Struts and an Ajax Rescue Kit—equipment designed to assist firefighters during complex rescue operations, including vehicle extrications, structural collapses and industrial accidents.
The Paratech Hydra Fusion Struts are hydraulic tools that provide up to 10 tons of lifting capacity and are used to stabilize and lift heavy loads. Their design allows for precise control, which enhances both safety and operational efficiency during emergencies.
The Ajax Rescue Kit features a collection of pneumatic tools used for rapid extrication and forcible entry, making them essential in scenarios where victims are trapped inside vehicles or buildings.
“These tools significantly enhance our ability to respond quickly and effectively to life-threatening situations,” the department said in a statement. “We’re grateful to Trident Maritime Systems for their support and commitment to community safety.”
Officials say the new equipment will help reduce response times and improve outcomes in critical incidents throughout High Bridge and surrounding areas.
