Hackettstown man charged with disorderly conduct after Main Street incident
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — A Hackettstown man was arrested after police said he repeatedly caused a disturbance on Main Street despite warnings to stop.
Hackettstown police said officers responded to the 200 block of Main Street at about 4:53 p.m. on Sept. 19 for a reported dispute. When they arrived, they saw Herman Martinez, 43, standing in the driveway of 212 Main Street.
The victim told police Martinez was yelling profanities and harassing them. Officers said they advised Martinez several times to stop acting disorderly and return inside his residence.
Martinez eventually went inside but later came back out and engaged in further disorderly behavior, according to police. He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Martinez was processed and later released pending a court appearance.
