
Wanted man arrested during Morris County traffic stop
DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Hollis, New York man was arrested early Tuesday morning after Denville police stopped his vehicle for delaying traffic and discovered he was wanted on an out-of-state warrant.
According to the Denville Police Department, the incident occurred on October 7, 2025, at about 1:09 a.m., when officers observed a vehicle stopped in a lane of travel while a traffic light was green.
Police said the driver, Randal Massillon, 27, was identified during the stop. A records check revealed that Massillon had an active NCIC warrant issued by the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee.
Massillon was placed under arrest and transported to Denville Police Headquarters for processing. Following processing, he was taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility, where he is being held pending extradition to Tennessee.
He was also charged with delaying traffic, police said.
