Morris County Commissioners Honor Deputy Surrogate Christopher Luongo for 30 Years of Service

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Morris County) — The Morris County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday recognized Deputy Surrogate Christopher Luongo for three decades of service to the county.

Luongo, who joined Morris County as deputy surrogate in October 1995, was honored during the board’s work session. Before his appointment to the Surrogate’s Office, he practiced law with Maskaleris & Associates in Morristown.

Commissioner Director Tayfun Selen presented Luongo with an etching of the Morris County Courthouse and offered congratulations on behalf of the commissioners, praising Luongo’s commitment and longstanding service to residents.

Surrogate Heather Darling also addressed the gathering, thanking Luongo for his dedication to the Surrogate’s Court and the people of Morris County.
