Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce marks 110th anniversary

FLEMINGTON, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce marked the anniversary of its founding Monday, recognizing 110 years of service to local businesses and the broader community.

The Chamber was established on Jan. 26, 1916, and has spent more than a century supporting economic growth across Hunterdon County. Over the decades, the organization has focused on advocating for local businesses, fostering partnerships, and connecting entrepreneurs, employers and community leaders.

Chamber officials said the milestone reflects generations of leadership, collaboration and community involvement that have helped shape the county’s business environment and quality of life.

The organization also acknowledged the contributions of its members, partners, volunteers and supporters—past and present—who have played a role in advancing its mission since its founding.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
