Roxbury Public Schools accepting nominations for Distinguished Alumni Award

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Roxbury Public Schools is accepting nominations for its 12th annual Distinguished Alumni Award, which honors graduates who have demonstrated personal, professional or humanitarian achievement.

The award recognizes alumni who exemplify the district’s tradition of excellence and have brought credit to the Roxbury community through their accomplishments.

Eligible candidates include graduates of Roxbury High School who have received a diploma, as well as former students who attended the Roxbury School System for at least five years.

Nominations may be submitted by alumni, faculty, staff, students or friends of Roxbury Schools. Completed nomination forms must be received by April 15, 2026, for consideration this year. Online submissions are preferred and are available on the district’s website.

Recipients will receive a Distinguished Alumni Award and a lifetime pass to all school events. A plaque honoring each winner will be installed in a prominent location at Roxbury High School. Posthumous awards may be presented to a family member or designee selected by the committee chairperson.

District officials said the award reflects the school system’s broader mission of preparing students to thrive as ethical and engaged global citizens.
