Arc of Warren County, WRNJ to host 36th annual Radiothon on April 29

WASHINGTON, N.J. (Warren County) — The Arc of Warren County and WRNJ Radio will host their 36th annual Radiothon on April 29, continuing one of the longest-running fundraisers of its kind in New Jersey.

The eight-hour broadcast will air from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring stories from individuals, families, community leaders, board members and staff about the impact of the organization’s programs.

Organizers said funds raised will support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with a focus on Camp Warren and the organization’s 17 residential programs across the county.

The Radiothon is the longest-running event of its kind in the state and among the longest-running nationally, according to organizers.

“The Arc of Warren County community is extremely thankful for the continued commitment to Radiothon from our co-chairs and WRNJ Radio, in general,” says John Whitehead, CEO of The Arc of Warren County. “It is Radiothon’s 36-year anniversary and we are still going strong. We are so grateful for all of the ongoing support. This commitment has made such a significant impact in supporting our programs and operations for many years.”

The 2026 Radiothon will be co-chaired by Jim Travis of Otterstedt Insurance Agency and Norman Worth of WRNJ, marking their eighth consecutive year in the role.

Organizers said donors will be recognized on air during the event unless they choose to remain anonymous. Sponsorship opportunities include the Community Builder Circle for donations over $500 and the “Empower Hour,” which allows individuals or businesses to sponsor one hour of programming for $1,500 or more.

Donations can be made online or by calling (908) 850-1000 during the event.

There are also opportunities to support the Agency’s fundraising efforts for this initiative. Those interested in participating as a donor or fundraiser are encouraged to contact Annamaria Lalevee at The Arc of Warren County at (908) 223-0884 or alalevee@arcwarren.org.
