Warren County held second annual Veterans Resource and Job Expo in Belvidere

BELVIDERE, N.J. (Warren County) — The second annual Veterans Resource and Job Expo in Belvidere brought together service organizations, employers and community leaders to connect local veterans with resources and job opportunities.

The event, hosted by the Warren County Division of Aging and Disability Services, was held April 16 at Belvidere Manor. Officials said the expo aimed to provide veterans with access to support services, employment options and community connections.

Warren County Commissioner Director Lori Ciesla attended the event, meeting with veterans and highlighting county services available to them.

“These annual Veterans Expos are more than just events; they are a meaningful reminder of the strength of our veteran community and the collective responsibility we share in supporting those who have served. This year’s remarkable turnout speaks volumes to that commitment,” said Warren County Veterans Coordinator / Veteran Service Officer Jacquie Petersen.

Officials said a variety of local organizations and employers participated, offering information on services ranging from health care and housing to job placement and career development.

“Thank you to all the wonderful organizations, employers, and volunteers who made this event possible,” Commissioner Director Ciesla stated, adding, “Your support continues to make a difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed for our great country. Special thanks to Jacquie Peterson for organizing such an amazing event.”
