No injuries reported after tractor-trailer fire on I-80 in Warren County

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A tractor-trailer fire early Saturday on Interstate 80 in Warren County was extinguished without injuries, authorities said.

New Jersey State Police responded at approximately 4:31 a.m. to a vehicle fire on I-80 east near milepost 1.8 in Knowlton Township, according to State Police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino.

When troopers arrived, a Freightliner tractor-trailer was fully engulfed in flames. The fire was later extinguished, and no injuries were reported at the scene.

Authorities said the trailer was empty at the time of the fire.

The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information was immediately available.
