Westbound lane closure planned Wednesday morning on I-78 Toll Bridge

WARREN COUNTY, N.J. — Drivers traveling westbound on the Interstate 78 Toll Bridge into Pennsylvania should expect a lane closure Wednesday morning while maintenance crews conduct roadway cleaning operations.

According to officials, one westbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., leaving two of the bridge’s three travel lanes open during the work.

Commission maintenance crews will be cleaning drains, removing debris and street sweeping along the bridge’s right lane and shoulder.

Motorists are being urged to reduce speeds and use caution while traveling through the work zone.

Officials said significant travel delays are not anticipated.

The scheduled lane closure may change depending on weather conditions, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
