Mountain Creek Zip Tours return for 2026 season
VERNON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon Township has announced the return of its Zip Tours for the 2026 season, offering visitors a high-flying adventure above the resort’s mountaintop terrain.
The seasonal attraction, which reopened this spring, features a guided two-hour experience that takes participants across a series of ziplines ranging from 200 feet to 1,500 feet in length. Riders travel from platform to platform while taking in panoramic views of the surrounding tri-state region.
Zip Tours are available Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $59.99. Participants must be at least 48 inches tall and weigh between 60 and 270 pounds.
“We’re excited to bring Zip Tours back for another season at Mountain Creek Resort,” said Evan Kovach, General Manager of Mountain Creek Resort. “There’s nothing quite like flying above the mountain and taking in those sweeping views while experiencing the thrill of the ride. It’s an adventure that continues to surprise and excite every guest who steps onto the course.”
For guests looking for a less adventurous option, Mountain Creek also offers scenic Sky Rides, which provide mountaintop views from a chairlift for $14.99.
Located in Vernon, Mountain Creek Resort is known for its year-round outdoor recreation offerings, including mountain biking, waterpark attractions, skiing and snow tubing.
The resort is located approximately one hour from the George Washington Bridge and draws visitors from across New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
