ShopRite’s soccer fan tour headed to 2 Morris County stores next month
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Soccer fans in Morris County will have a chance to join in the excitement of this summer’s international matches when ShopRite’s “We Kick It Here Tour” makes stops in Lincoln Park and Hanover Township next month.
The family-friendly tour, which began June 5 and runs through July 19, is bringing soccer-themed events, giveaways and interactive activities to 23 ShopRite locations across the Northeast.
The tour will visit the ShopRite of Lincoln Park, located at 60 Beaver Brook Road, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 17. It will then stop at the ShopRite of Morristown, located at 178 E. Hanover Ave. in Cedar Knolls, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 18.
Timed to coincide with heightened interest in international soccer matches taking place in the Northeast this summer, the events are designed to celebrate fan culture and bring communities together.
“Soccer fans are gearing up for an unforgettable summer, and ShopRite is excited to help bring that energy to life with fun, family-friendly events close to home,” said Francisco Alberto, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Wakefern Food Corp., the retailer-owned supermarket cooperative whose member families own and operate ShopRite stores. “Our We Kick It Here Tour is all about bringing people together — celebrating the spirit of the game while creating memorable moments for customers and the communities our stores proudly serve.”
According to ShopRite, participating store parking lots will be transformed into interactive soccer fan zones featuring product samples, giveaways, face painting, personalized trading cards and other soccer-themed activities.
Several national brands, including Coca-Cola, Chobani, Kraft Heinz, Ferrero, General Mills, Mission Foods and ICEE, are participating in the tour through product sampling and on-site activations.
The tour includes stops throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland, with the Morris County events among the final stops before the tour concludes July 19.
