Mosquito treatment scheduled Monday morning in 2 Morris County towns

MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — The Morris County Mosquito Commission has scheduled mosquito control treatment for early Monday morning in East Hanover and Chatham due to an increase in adult mosquito populations.

Weather permitting, crews will treat wooded areas by all-terrain vehicle on June 29 between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m.

The scheduled treatment areas include Ridgedale Avenue near Lurker Park in East Hanover and Tanglewood Lane in Chatham.

The commission said it will use either Anvil 2+2, with the active ingredient Sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, with the active ingredient Etofenprox.
