Crack open a box: Cheez-It, Coors Light unveil limited-edition Beer Cheese flavored crackers

Tailgating season is getting a little cheesier as Cheez-It teams up with Coors Light for its first beer brand collaboration.

Cheez-It, part of Kellanova, is teaming up with Coors Light for the first beer brand collaboration in the cracker brand’s history, introducing limited-edition Cheez-It Coors Light Beer Cheese flavored crackers ahead of football season.

The new crackers are baked with 100% real cheese and are designed to capture the taste of creamy beer cheese dip, featuring a savory, tangy flavor with toasted spices, according to the companies.

“Our obsessed fans are constantly looking for bold new ways to enjoy Cheez-It, and we had the golden opportunity to bring one of America’s favorite dips to life in a whole new way,” Nicole Sorensen, vice president of marketing for Cheez-It, said in a statement.

Coors Light said the collaboration builds on a familiar game-day pairing.

“Fans already love reaching for a cold Coors Light when they’re snacking on game day, so finding a way to bring our crisp, refreshing beer flavors to life in a real-deal beer cheese flavored snack just made sense,” Matt Carpenter, vice president of marketing for the Coors Family of Brands, said in a statement.

The limited-edition crackers will be available at retailers nationwide beginning in August for a suggested retail price of $4.99 per box, while supplies last.

Cheez-It is now part of Mars following the company’s acquisition of Kellanova, which was completed in late 2025.

More information about the collaboration is available at CheezIt.com.
