MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — The Mansfield Township Police Department is partnering with Walmart Hackettstown to collect school supplies for local students during its annual “Stuff the Truck” school supply drive next month.
The donation drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at Walmart Hackettstown, 1885 Route 57, where community members are encouraged to donate new school supplies to help students prepare for the 2026-27 school year.
According to the Mansfield Township Police Department, all donated supplies will benefit students in the Mansfield Township School District, helping ease the financial burden on families in need.
Items being collected include backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, glue sticks, scissors, rulers, erasers, highlighters and other classroom essentials.
Residents who would like to contribute but are unable to attend the event may arrange a donation by contacting Sgt. Ellie Russell at ERussell@mansfieldtownship-nj.gov.
The police department said the community-wide effort aims to ensure every student has the supplies needed for a successful school year while bringing residents together to support local families.
