LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Liberty Township will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a community festival on Saturday, Aug. 22, featuring live entertainment, games, contests, food and a drone show.
The celebration will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. at the recreation fields behind the Liberty Township Municipal Building, 349 Mountain Lake Road.
The event will include a performance by the Harry Noble Trio, along with a DJ, games, demonstrations, a cornhole tournament, pie baking contest and a township history display highlighting Liberty Township’s centennial.
Organizers also announced that free hot dogs and hamburgers will be available during the celebration.
A drone show at dusk is planned as the evening’s featured attraction.
A beer garden hosted by the Mountain Lake Fire Company (MLFC).
The township is promoting the event as part of its yearlong celebration marking 100 years since Liberty Township’s founding in 1926.
