18-year-old hospitalized after reported drowning at Warren County camp, state police say

HARDWICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — An 18-year-old man was hospitalized after state police responded to a reported drowning incident at a camp in Warren County on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

New Jersey State Police troopers were called at 2:54 p.m. to the camp on Sunset Lake Road in Hardwick Township, NJSP spokesman Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.

When troopers arrived, the 18-year-old was alert and receiving medical treatment, according to Lebron.

He was taken to an area hospital for further treatment.

State police did not provide additional information about the circumstances surrounding the incident or the man’s condition.
