MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled for wooded areas in Lincoln Park and Hanover early Friday morning because of an increase in adult mosquito populations, according to the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control.
Weather permitting, crews will conduct the treatments using all-terrain vehicles between 4 and 6 a.m. Aug. 14.
In Lincoln Park, crews are scheduled to treat the area around Ryerson Road at Lanes Field. That treatment was originally scheduled for Aug. 7 and has been rescheduled.
In Hanover, treatment is scheduled in the area of Valley Forge Drive at Heritage Woods.
The county said crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox.
