
Mosquito treatments scheduled Saturday in Chatham Township, Pequannock
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled early Saturday in parts of Chatham Township and Pequannock following an increase in adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will conduct treatments from 4 to 6 a.m. Aug. 15 using all-terrain vehicles.
In Chatham Township, treatment is scheduled along Roosevelt Road in Passaic River County Park.
In Pequannock, treatment is scheduled along Jefferson Street in Washington Park.
The county said crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox.
