Applications sought for Warren Community College Board of Trustees

WARREN COUNTY, N.J. — The Warren Community College Trustee Search Committee is accepting applications from Warren County residents interested in serving on the college’s Board of Trustees.

Applicants must have lived in Warren County for at least four years and cannot currently hold elected public office or be employed by Warren County or Warren Community College.

Trustees are expected to devote approximately 20 hours per month to their duties.

Responsibilities include fiscal and operational oversight of the college, establishing policies and procedures for the administration, evaluating the college president, appointing other staff and determining educational curriculum and programs consistent with the college’s mission.

Trustees are also responsible for developing and approving master planning concepts and preparing reports for New Jersey Higher Education, the Warren County Board of County Commissioners and the community.

Interested applicants must submit a resume, a letter outlining their interest and ability to serve as a trustee, and any other pertinent materials by Friday, Aug. 28.
