Somerset County names Robert Ratliff September ‘Fugitive of the Month’
SOMERSET COUNTY, N.J. — The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking the public’s help locating a Somerset man wanted on charges related to his requirements as a registered sex offender.
Robert E. Ratliff, 44, has been named the Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit’s “Fugitive of the Month” for September.
According to the prosecutor’s office, Ratliff is wanted for failure to appear on one count of third-degree failure to notify authorities of an address change as a registered sex offender and one count of third-degree failure to verify his address as a registered sex offender.
Authorities said the alleged offenses occurred between February 2025 and June 2026 in Franklin Township.
Ratliff is described as 6 feet, 1 inch tall and approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his upper right arm that reads “Robert Loves Betty.” His last known address was in Somerset.
Anyone with information about Ratliff’s whereabouts is asked not to approach or attempt to apprehend him.

Authorities said all anonymous STOPit reports and tips will be kept confidential.
