
Driver injured in head-on crash on Route 519 in Warren County
WHITE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A driver was injured in a head-on crash on Route 519 in White Township on Wednesday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police.
Troopers responded to the crash at 5:07 p.m. on County Road 519 south near milepost 37.5, NJSP spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino said.
A preliminary investigation found that a Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicle was traveling south on Route 519 when the driver crossed the double yellow line into the northbound lane and struck a Subaru SUV head-on, Postorino said.
The driver of the Subaru suffered moderate injuries and was taken to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
