Denville residents invited to help create Unity Tree mosaic
DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Denville residents are invited to help create a new public art installation that will be permanently displayed in the community.
The Rotary Club of Denville is gifting a Unity Tree mosaic to the community, which will be made up of approximately 400 individual tiles painted with the help of local residents.
Residents ages 13 and older can participate in community painting sessions in the Community Room at Denville Town Hall. Sessions are scheduled for:
- Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon
- Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 7 to 9 p.m.
No artistic experience is necessary. Participants will paint individual tiles that will become part of the larger Unity Tree mosaic.
The project is intended to bring people together through service and community while creating a permanent piece of public art for Denville.
Residents are encouraged to register in advance at DenvilleRotary.org. Walk-ins will be accepted as space permits.
Additional information and registration are available at DenvilleRotary.org.
