Route 10 westbound right lane and ramp from Dover Chester Road closed Tuesday night for priority gas main work in Randolph Township

One lane maintained between Emery Avenue and Dover Chester Road

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The right lane on Route 10 westbound and the ramp from Dover Chester Road/CR 513 southbound to Route 10 westbound are scheduled to be closed tonight for priority gas main work in Randolph Township.

Beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, until 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, the right lane on Route 10 westbound will be closed from Emery Avenue to just past the Dairy Queen, after the Dover Chester Road/CR 513 intersection. In addition, the ramp from Dover Chester Road/CR 513 southbound to Route 10 westbound will be closed during the same time period. These closures are necessary to complete priority gas main work.

The left lane on Route 10 westbound will remain open during construction. Route 10 eastbound will not be affected. Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and expect delays when driving through the work zone.

Detour for Dover Chester Road/CR 513 Southbound Ramp to Route 10 Westbound:

Motorists traveling on Dover Chester Road/CR 513 southbound who wish to access Route 10 westbound will be directed to:

  • Continue straight on Dover Chester Road/CR 513 across Route 10
  • Turn right onto Morris Turnpike
  • Turn right onto Canfield Avenue
  • Turn left onto Route 10 westbound

If weather or other factors prevent the work from being completed tonight, the same lane and ramp closures will be in effect on Wednesday, April 16, during the same hours.
