MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — New Jersey Assemblywoman Aura Dunn will host two property tax relief assistance events Tuesday, Sept. 15, in Rockaway and Randolph townships.
New Jersey Department of the Treasury representatives will be on-site to answer questions and help residents apply for the Senior Freeze, Stay NJ and ANCHOR property tax relief programs. The state also lists both events on its schedule of property tax relief filing assistance events.
The first event will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Rockaway Township Town Hall, 65 Mount Hope Road.
A second event will run from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Randolph Township Town Hall, 502 Millbrook Avenue.
Residents attending a PAS-1 filing event are asked to bring their Social Security number; name and address, including county/municipality code and block and lot information; photo identification; 2024 and 2025 income documentation; and total property taxes billed for 2024 and 2025.
The PAS-1 is the combined application used by eligible seniors and Social Security Disability or Railroad Retirement Disability benefit recipients to apply for Senior Freeze, ANCHOR and Stay NJ. The deadline to submit the 2025 property tax relief application is Nov. 2.
Residents who have already filed for ANCHOR or PAS-1 benefits can check the status of their applications through the state’s online property tax relief status portal.
