Pedestrian pinned between vans after crash in Warren County, state police say
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A pedestrian was injured Wednesday morning after becoming pinned between two parked vans when a pickup truck struck one of the vehicles in Warren County, New Jersey State Police said.
Troopers responded to the crash at about 9:09 a.m. on Asbury Broadway Road in Franklin Township, according to state police spokesman Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police said two Ram vans were parked in the roadway while a pedestrian unloaded items between them. A Honda pickup truck then collided with the rear of one of the vans, pinning the pedestrian between the vehicles, police said.
The pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital, police said. No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was available, police said.
