Topgolf Parsippany among qualifier locations for Taco Bell’s inaugural Live Más Open
PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, N.J. (Morris County) — Golfers will have a chance to compete for a spot in Taco Bell’s inaugural Live Más Open through a nationwide qualifier that includes Topgolf Parsippany.
The nine-hole golf tournament, hosted by Kevin Hart, will bring together celebrities, professional athletes, creators and qualifying fans Nov. 2 at The Ranch at Laguna Beach in California.
Through Sept. 27, eligible golfers can enter the Live Más Open Qualifier by playing the Shot Shuffle game at participating Topgolf locations nationwide, including Topgolf Parsippany, Topgolf Edison and Topgolf Long Island-Holtsville. A free online method of entry is also available.
Players who score 200 points or more will be invited to enter a sweepstakes. Those who do not want to make a purchase or visit a Topgolf location can enter for free online.
From the entries, 100 candidates will be randomly selected to receive a one-month Topgolf Platinum Club Membership and an invitation to submit a player biography and video. Taco Bell will evaluate the submissions based on criteria in the official rules and select nine fans to travel to Laguna Beach and compete in the 36-player field. Entrants must be 21 or older.
“I love golf, I love Taco Bell, what could be better than bringing them together for a day of competition and fun,” said Kevin Hart, host of Live Más Open. “The tournament is going to be a good time – bring your swag, bring your swing, bring some personality and let’s play.”
The tournament will feature nine foursomes, with each team consisting of one qualifying fan, a celebrity, a professional athlete and a creator.
“Topgolf has always been about making golf more accessible and social, which is why the Live Más Open is such a natural fit for us,” said David McKillips, CEO at Topgolf. “Together with Taco Bell, we want everyone to feel like they can be part of the game, whether they’re picking up a club for the first time or have been playing for years, with a chance to earn their way into the field and experience golf in a way they may never have imagined.”
Taco Bell is also releasing more than 1 million offer codes through Taco Bell Rewards, providing members $25 off a Topgolf reservation during the qualifier period while supplies last.
During the Nov. 2 tournament, teams will compete in challenges and have access to golf-inspired food from Taco Bell. The winning foursome will receive the inaugural Live Más Open trophy, purple jackets and the opportunity to select a Taco Bell menu item to return at participating locations nationwide for a limited time in 2027.
“Taco Bell has always been a disruptor when it comes to conventions, and we’re excited to bring that Live Más spirit to a sport like golf,” said Luis Restrepo, Chief Marketing Officer at Taco Bell. “With the Live Más Open, we’re playing a different game, bringing pros, celebrities, creators and fans together on the course in a way that hasn’t been done before. Our fans have always shaped this brand, so when we create an experience like this, we want them to be a part of it, not watching from the sidelines.”
The Live Más Open will stream nationwide in November.
