WARREN COUNTY, N.J. — Warren County Clerk Holly Mackey said 10,586 vote-by-mail ballots were delivered to the Belvidere Post Office on Thursday morning for voters who requested them.
Mackey said the mailing came after a recent Supreme Court ruling upheld that no changes would be enacted regarding mail-in voting for this election cycle.
She noted that while all ballots were delivered to the Belvidere Post Office at the same time, they are then sent to a sorting facility. As a result, ballots sent to multiple voters in the same household may not arrive on the same day.
Mackey said voters who know they are vote-by-mail voters and do not receive their ballot by Oct. 1 should contact the Warren County Clerk’s Office so staff can troubleshoot the issue.
The office is asking voters to wait until Oct. 1 before calling to allow time for the U.S. Postal Service to deliver the ballots.
