MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Morris County) — Karl Hauck has joined the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office as an assistant prosecutor, Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll announced.
Hauck was sworn in during a ceremony Monday, Sept. 28, conducted by Superior Court Judge Stephen Taylor.
Hauck will be assigned to the Domestic Violence and Juvenile units within the office’s Family Division.
Before joining the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Hauck served as an assistant prosecutor with the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office. During his time there, he handled grand jury matters, juvenile prosecutions, Recovery Court and firearms appeals.
Hauck also previously worked as a legal extern for a private law firm and as a judicial intern for the Sussex County Superior Court.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering from Rowan University and his law degree from Vermont Law & Graduate School.
“I believe Assistant Prosecutor Hauck will make a great addition to our Office’s legal team, and I welcome him aboard,” Carroll said.
