Mosquito spraying scheduled Friday morning in 3 Morris County communities

MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled for early Friday morning in portions of East Hanover, Florham Park and Hanover due to an increase in adult mosquito populations, weather permitting.

The Morris County Division of Mosquito Control plans to treat wooded areas using all-terrain vehicles between 4:30 and 6:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2.

Treatment is scheduled at the following locations:

  • East Hanover — Klinger Road
  • Florham Park — Brooklake Road at Fish’s Meadow
  • Hanover — Valley Forge Drive at Heritage Woods

Crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient Sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient Etofenprox.
