Man pleads guilty to eluding in Sussex County
NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Union County man has entered a guilty plea to eluding and motor vehicle charges, according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis Koch.
Juan C. Gomez-Sarrazola, 27, of Linden pled guilty to third-degree eluding and various motor vehicle offenses before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Virtual Courtroom in Newton on March 9, Koch said.
According to Koch, Gomez-Sarrazola admitted that he continued to drive his motorcycle in Wantage Township on April 18, 2021, despite being signaled to stop by law enforcement.
Gomez-Sarrazola is scheduled to be sentenced on May 13 before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C., Koch said.
Gomez-Sarrazola was represented by Edward Bilinkas, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Magdalen Czykier.
