6 arrested, marijuana products, cash seized in raid on 4 Hackettstown businesses

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) -Six people were arrested and marijuana products and cash were seized in a raid on four Hackettstown businesses.

On Tuesday, April 09, after an eight month investigation, the Hackettstown Police Department in conjunction with the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, New Jersey State Police, and the New Jersey Division of Taxation executed a series of search warrants on Canna Campus, located at 150 Mountain Avenue, Good Luck Vapes, located at 198 Mountain Avenue, Smokey Bear, located at 255 Main Street and Mom N Pops CBD & Wellness Shop, located at 110 Mill Street, officials said.

The search warrants resulted in the seizure of approximately $20,000 in cash and suspected raw marijuana, as well as suspected cannabinoid infused products in various forms, authorities said.

The below listed individuals were charged as a result of the investigation:

  • Joseph A. Lanzisera, 28, of Scranton, PA was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute marijuana in a quantity of more than 1 ounce but less than 5 pounds and fourth-degree possession of marijuana in a quantity of more than 6 ounces.
  • Marlon A. Carbajal, 30, of Netcong Borough was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute marijuana in a quantity of more than 1 ounce but less than 5 pounds and fourth-degree possession of marijuana in a quantity of more than 6 ounces.
  • Shiva Khosla, 26, of Rockaway was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute marijuana in a quantity of more than 1 ounce but less than 5 pounds and third-degree unlawfully, knowingly, and willingly possess property known or which a reasonable person would believe to be derived from criminal activity, specifically $11,899 in cash.
  • Kimberly L. Aiello, 35, of Mount Arlington Borough was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute marijuana in a quantity of more than 1 ounce but less than 5 pounds and third-degree unlawfully, knowingly, and willingly possess property known or which a reasonable person would believe to be derived from criminal activity, specifically $4,755 in cash.
  • Raymond F. Brown, 48, of Great Meadows was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute marijuana in a quantity of more than 1 ounce but less than 5 pounds and third-degree unlawfully, knowingly, and willingly possess property known or which a reasonable person would believe to be derived from criminal activity, specifically $1,244 in cash.
  • Michael A. Scardigno, 33, of Phillipsburg was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute marijuana in a quantity of more than 1 ounce but less than 5 pounds and third-degree unlawfully, knowingly, and willingly possess property known or which a reasonable person would believe to be derived from criminal activity, specifically $3,876 in cash.

The third-degree offenses carry a maximum sentence of 5 years in the New Jersey State Prison, and the fourth-degree offenses carry a maximum sentence of 18 months in the New Jersey State Prison.
