Mosquito spraying set for Wednesday night in Montville Twp.

MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Due to an increase in adult mosquito populations, the Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in a section of Montville Township Wednesday night.

The mosquito spraying will go on from 8:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, weather permitting, the commission said.

The following areas are scheduled to be treated:

  • Montville Township: E. Cheryl Rd, Lorraine Dr, Demoray Ct, Avalon Dr, Konner Ave, Cheryl Rd, Green Meadows Rd, Isolde Ct, Tristam Pl, Hilldale Rd,  Pine Brook Rd, Peace Valley Rd, Two Bridges Rd, Hook Mountain Rd, Rachel Terrace, Weldon Place, Willard Ln,  St Malo Dr,  Arthur Pl, Gathering Rd,  Lisa Pl, Stiles Ln, and Changebridge Rd (Gathering Place to Stiles Ln).

The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
