ALDI to open first Hackettstown store by year’s end, hire up to 20 workers

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — ALDI plans to open its first Hackettstown store by the end of the year, bringing 15 to 20 new jobs to the community, the company announced.

The German-based discount grocer, known for its low prices and store brands, will open the location on Mountain Avenue in the former Marshalls building next to Lowe’s.

“We are excited to share that our first Hackettstown store is expected to open by the end of this year,” Bob Grammer, Center Valley Division vice president at ALDI, said in a statement to RNJ.

The company said it will begin hiring both full- and part-time associates in the coming months. Job postings will be available at careers.aldi.us.
