Applebee’s franchisee launches 27th annual Toys for Tots campaign
Doherty Enterprises, Inc., a leading franchisee for Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar® in New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey, has kicked off its 27th annual Toys for Tots® campaign, aiming to raise $250,000 to support children in need this holiday season.
Running now through January 4, 2026, the campaign gives guests multiple ways to participate at participating Applebee’s locations across New Jersey and Long Island. Donations can be made by purchasing paper gift packs, rounding up checks, or enjoying seasonal cocktails like the Mucho Jack & Jingle and the El Jimador Margarita Flight, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Toys for Tots.
“We’re proud to celebrate our 27th year partnering with Toys for Tots® and supporting children in need throughout our local communities,” said Kurt Pahlitzsch, Vice President of Operations at Doherty Enterprises. “This long-standing partnership reflects our commitment to giving back, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to spread holiday cheer to both our guests and the families we serve.”
Since the partnership began in 1998, Doherty Enterprises has raised more than $5.6 million for Toys for Tots, helping bring joy to thousands of children during the holiday season.
Guests who donate $10 or more during their visit will receive a coupon for a complimentary appetizer on their next visit. In addition, select Applebee’s locations will host Breakfast with Santa events on December 13, featuring breakfast, photos with Santa, raffles, and family activities — all to support the Toys for Tots mission.
All proceeds will go directly to the Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program, with funds remaining in the local communities where they’re raised to assist families in need.
