Applebee’s in Bridgewater unveils renovated restaurant at ribbon-cutting ceremony
BRIDGEWATER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Somerset County) — Doherty Enterprises, Inc. officially unveiled its newly renovated Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Bridgewater on Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local officials, company executives, and members of the community.
The event, held at 10:30 a.m. at the restaurant located at 640 Promenade Blvd in the Bridgewater Promenade, marked the completion of a comprehensive remodel aimed at creating a brighter, more modern dining environment.
“This makeover is designed to celebrate the spirit of this town,” said Michael McKee, director of operations for Doherty Enterprises. “We’re very excited to welcome our guests into a space that showcases local character while offering the friendly hospitality and signature entrees families have come to expect.”
The updates include enhanced booth and bar seating, new lighting fixtures, and vibrant neighborhood-inspired murals that reflect the company’s commitment to creating welcoming spaces for guests.
“We view each restaurant remodel as an investment in our local communities,” said Tim Doherty, chief operations officer of Doherty Enterprises. “The Bridgewater renovation is just one of several we have planned this year.”
Renovations were completed during overnight and early morning hours to minimize disruption to guests during the summer season.
