Aroma Horno & Café in Hackettstown collecting donations for Venezuela earthquake relief

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — Aroma Horno & Café is collecting donations to support earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela.

The business, located at 205 Main St. in Hackettstown, is accepting donations from residents in Hackettstown and surrounding communities. All donated items will be delivered to the main collection center at Maracaibo Restaurant in Union City for shipment to Venezuela.

Requested donations include:

  • Nonperishable and canned food
  • Dry or canned dog and cat food
  • Baby and adult diapers
  • Personal hygiene products
  • Medicines and first aid supplies
  • Batteries

Organizers said clothing and bottled water are not being accepted at this time.

The donation drive is open to residents of Hackettstown, Budd Lake, Long Valley, Washington, Mansfield, Great Meadows, Chester, Mount Olive, Flanders and nearby communities.
