MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Authorities have identified a motorcyclist who died in a Mount Olive Township crash Monday afternoon as Jeffrey Jacobs, 40, of East Stroudsburg, PA, according to Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Meghan Knab.
The crash between a motorcycle and a 2022 Honda took place on Route 46 eastbound near Naughright Road.
Jacobs was pronounced dead at the scene, Knab said.
The driver of the Honda remained on scene, Knab said.
“No charges have been filed,” Knab said.
Route 46 eastbound was closed at Drakestown Road and Route 46 westbound near Naughright Road had one lane closed for the investigation.
